I have seen a few apartments that I'm interested in. I'm looking no further east than Coit and no further south than Arapaho that is less than $600. I work near DFW airport and go to school in Richardson, so that area is right in the middle. I used to live in west plano and got to experience the "nicer side of things" but then after living in the ghetto of milwaukee, i've learned that I don't need a fancy apartment to impress people that costs out the wazoo... Pluuus i don't make what I used to.. so I've put a cap of $600 for a one bedroom apartment.. I don't want an efficiency, but don't need a huge apartment either.. I could do in the 500-ish area for squarefeet.. Its just me and two cats..

The only two I've found that look reasonable are:
Meadowcrest apartments
Enclave at prestonwood < - this is my pick of the two.

Has anyone lived in either of these places? any first hand experience in any other places in that area ? or places to AVOID?
