I'm interested in getting feedback on great companies to work for that exists in the DFW area. I am particularly interested in companies within the healthcare domain i.e hospitals and health Insurance. I am a current business analyst and I'm currently expanding my skills in project management and the IT field (.NET and sharepoint.) I've worked for both Baylor and Blue Cross and I loved them both but I still would like to know what's else is out there as I will be moving back to the DFW area (maybe Cedar Hill or Mansfield...thinking about Richardson as well. I'm looking for companies that have some of the following:
great work/life balance, great environment, great benefit package (great PTO and health plans), work from home options, close to public commute, company paid public transportation, onsite cafeteria-I do like cooking, opps for advancement/promotion, great company discounts. I know that this is a loooooooong list and I know that there are no companies that has it all but you get my drift....give me the inside juice. Also, location can be from North Dallas to Fort worth. Thanks

my neighbors work for what used to be Harris system in Tarrant county at the HEB site--as admins, not medical staff
I think they like it for most part
know someone who works as nurse at the HEB hospital and she has worked at other hospitals in FTW area for years--says that HEB is the best so far

Non-licensed/non-clinical positions at the major hospitals are very difficult to come by. People usually stay in those positions for a LONG time... I'd say any hospital where you can get a job is a good one!
