Does anyone know anything about this area? My main concern is safety. We are currently in Michigan looking to move to Texas and I found a house in this area that I like. No exact address was given, only the street names.

Not a bad area at all. I bought a home in that subdivision a couple of years ago for resale. Homes are generally well kept and it's a family-oriented neighborhood.

I live in this area. Give me some street names and I will give you some honest feedback.

I helped a friend move to a larger newer home out in that area.
Seemed like any other place, Homes, Homes, Homes.

If you are moving from out of town, you need to consider your commute as well.
Traffic can be unbearable at times.

Mesquite has all your regular amenities, shopping at Town East Mall. Mesquite rodeo is popular
on weekends.

I looked up Cartwright and Staple street and this area is a older homes. It backs right up to the newer construction homes in Mesquite. It's hard to give advice on this one because if you go 1/2 mile south your in a older neighborhood. Go a 1/2 mile north and your into homes that were built 10 years ago. Would the house your looking at be located in the Cantura Cove subdivision.
