Does anyone know of townhomes in West Plano (including the Shops at Legacy) that are currently being constructed or completed in the last 10 years? For purchase. Some names of builders and/or the neighborhoods would be great! Thank you very much!

I would not buy those. Towhomes don't do well in the DFW area outside the tight downtown core area. In suburbs, they're almost always a bad buy because they never appreciate.

I work on Legacy and have watched the "for sale" signs at the Legacy townhomes drop from $400k+ new construction to $220-250k-ish right now. That price drop doesn't indicate you're getting a good deal; it indicates you'd be buying a lemon that no one has wanted for the past 3-4 years. Why they keep building, I don't know......

If you want a townhome in Plano, RENT. If you want a low maintenance property, look into zero lot line homes where the yard space is really small. Those do better than attached townhomes and condos.

Turtle Creek gave some good advice. Unless you are on a coastal city or an extremely built out city, in which the DFW area is neither, townhomes and condos tend to go down in value more than up.

Currently building townhouses in west Plano:

Multiple builders in the northern part of the Shops at Legacy area.
Pulte at Preston Villages (Ohio/Parker).
Multiple builders at Normandy Estates (Spring Creek/Tennyson).
Hawkins-Welwood at Willow Bend Park Villas (Parkwood/Park).

The cheapest of these start at around $300K. Many are in the $400K-$500K range, and some even higher. Caveat emptor.
