Great schools. With Little Elm, well, why not live on Mars for an easier commute? Frisco is better because you can shoot down the Sam Rayburn right to the airport. The closest thing I can think of to "match" Lantana would be Plantation (in your price range), but I knew Plantation (lived there on the 11th green) and it's no Lantana. But not horrible and good schools.

Wellington and Bridlewood are very similar. The lower priced houses have smaller lots generally in both neighborhoods.

Don't know if you're still looking...

Frisco does have great schools, and Little Elm is up and coming. I wouldn't live in Little Elm and commute to the airport, though. They are surrounded on the west and south by the lake, so there's not much easy access unless you're coming from Frisco/Prosper. You would be looking at a commute involving I35 (which will soon be expanded like LBJ to the north) and a toll bridge over the lake, or FM 423 through The Colony, which can be a traffic headache until you get to about Lebanon, where it has been expanded. Frisco is easier to get to because of the 121 tollway.

The developer that build Lantana just broke ground on Philips Creek Ranch on FM 423 between Lebanon and Stonebriar. Their website shows that houses will begin in the mid $250's area and up, and the neighborhood will probably be similar. Still a bit far from the airport, but you could take 121 toll to DNT or Legacy to avoid the congestion of 423 through The Colony.

Lantana is really nice, but again, traffic to and from DFW might not be fun. FM 2499 is direct, but has red lights and gets very heavy traffic during rush hours. You could look at alternate routes like 377 and see if they're doable.

Good luck!
