no cab driver would take that fare unless you paid for his return time as well

As others stated, no public transportation is available.

The only option I know of is to take the Supershuttle's ExecuCar... their rate is $92 roundtrip from/to Murphy to/from DFW according to their
website, but I have used it to get from one side of the metroplex to the other to pick up my auto before...you'll just have to call and ask.

I can assure you, while that may be an expensive option, it's cheaper than any taxi in the area.

You also might consider just renting a car as this may turn out to be your cheapest option.

Consider the Dart rail to downtown Dallas.
Transfer to the TRE which will stop at Centerpoint.
Take a taxi from Centerpoint (Hwy 360) North to Grapevine.
You will need to call for taxi service.

I agree with the other entry that it may be cheaper to rent the auto for a day.

Orange Line and Fort Worth SW2NE will eventually connect Grapevine but that's still a while off into the future

Certainly not the best way, but use google maps to show directions from exactly where you need in murphy to where you need to go in Grapevine. Then click the bus icon to see how to do it via public transportation.

I did it now from murphy in general to grapevine in general it and it took DART light rail and two buses, but 3 hours later, you'd be in grapevine of course you need someone to drop you off at the DART station.

But anyways, just for reference, that's a good way to see how you can go from point A to point B via public trans.
