We are looking to take some day trips. Any suggestions on where to go? We are open to anything but looking for no more than a 2-3hr drive since it will be just for the day. WE are looking for little towns to sight see, walk around grab lunch etc.. Someone told us to visit Muenster, they said its a cool little german town. Anyone every been? Anything a must see?

Default Muenster trip

It's a pretty little town, but there isn't a whole lot to do there. A couple of nice shops and a great German restaurant. You might want to go during Oktoberfest, though. They are listed on the internet. You also might consider Gainesville and Whitesboro, as well as a weekend speciality and antiques shop trip down 377 from Whitesboro through Collinsville, Tioga, Pilot Point, and Aubrey. There is also a berry farm and lavender ranch/farm between Gainesville and Whitesboro. I have not been to either, but I found them on the internet and they look interesting. I'm from Pottsboro and would love to find some day-trip groups.
