Default Help me plan a day in Euless/Bedford area fun things??

We are going to look at some real estate in Euless mainly but also Bedford and just wanted to find perhaps a restaurant to eat at and then maybe somewhere neat to visit whether it is a park, museum, mall, attraction, etc.

Any ideas?

Yes, downtown Grapevine is nice. There are several restaurants there, too. My favorite is Cafe Italia just around the corner on NW Hwy at Scribner. It's byob so grab a bottle from one of the wineries in the area.

Grapevine Mills Mall has the Lego Discovery Zone and the Sealife Aquarium that are both really neat. The mall itself is huge, and it's a mile to walk all the way around it!

The National Headquarters for the Boy Scouts has a great scouting museum: Visitor Information

The Mustang Statues: The Mustangs of Las Colinas

If you feel like eating some good, cheap German food in Bedford, there's a great little dive (used to be a taco restaurant): Everything German - Bedford | Urbanspoon

lot of the info people gave you is good info but they moved you out of Bedford/Euless area to get it

there are some great local/chain places to eat in Euless and Bedford--I know because I eat there all the time

one of the best restaurants for Mexican food is Lupe's which is locally owned/operated--is in the strip center off Central and 183--right across the st from Pennington Field
Pappadeaux's chain Cajun restaurant is across 183 from there
Cheddar's which has great prices for the meals has variety of "American" dishes mainly--I love their fried shrimp and my husband loves the chicken-pot-pie/salad combo...
Fuddrucker's hamburgers is off Forest Ridge as is Spring Creek BBQ with pretty good ribs
If you go along Harwood to Harwood and 121 there is fairly new restaurant called Old West which does breakfast until 2 and lunch from 11-2
great homemade food with lots of options for breakfast--very crowded--but good value for your meal

Euless has Saviano's Italian restaurant off N Main which lot of people love that is very close to North Main BBQ
There is also Italian place on 157 just north of Trinity high school that makes great pizza--Lushay--pronounced LooJacks I think

There is a Thai place in the shopping center where Ross's in on 157 south of the Airport Frwy--good food
Billadelphia's philly steak sandwiches is pretty authentic from what I heard and it is north of Airport Frwy off the access road in little kiosk type place

and those are except for Pappadeaux's really inexpensive type family meals
going north into Colleyville or Grapevine off 121 there are others or you can go south in Arlington to the Lincoln Sq area

but I admit in Bedford or Euless there is not really much to see for sightseeing

I can't believe the person who recommended the German restaurant has eaten there--there was nothing fresh about that food--mainly stuff that has been imported from Germany when it was at the original location
I went to the original location and was not impressed enough to try it where it is now--but I read the info on the link and maybe we will go there and try it...

The aforementioned Thai restaurant is Papaya Garden. Find it on Industrial Blvd. just south of 183. One of the best Thai restaurants anywhere. Delicious tom kha soup, pad thai, and pho for starters. It's all good. Lovely people, too.

Abuelo's near Precinct Line & 183 makes good margarita/sangria swirls. Food is decent for a chain, but I go for the atmosphere and happy hour specials.

A block north on Precinct Line is Italianni's, which is worth checking out if you are looking for an alternative to the usual Olive Garden/Carrabba's routine.

J.R.'s is a four star steakhouse just north of Glade on 121. Good place to take a date.

The best thing I eat at Abuelo's is the carnitas tacos
any Mexican restaurant that has a prime rib special night is a little suspect to me...
