Default Where are the people that relocated from the Chicago area and surounding areas?

Hello,
Does anybody know if there are any DFW areas with more people that relocated from Chicago, Michigan, Indiana, etc?
Or are they all over the place?
We are planing to move from Chicago in the future.
Thanks much!

They are all over the place. Just like the folks from California, Jersey, Iowa and the other 45 states.

Unlike most states, we basically allow yankees to live wherever they want to live. So they are all over.

You won't find a concentration of mid westerners anywhere. There are Black neighborhoods, Indian clusters, Pakistani areas. But folks of all background live all over the place. It's very diverse.

If you're worried about moving here with all the Texan hicks, don't be. I'm from Chicago, and had no problem assimilating here in 1979. And there are TONS of non-Texans here. Heck, JCPenney moved here from NY.

Default funny!

Thanks,
No, we are not afraid LOL
we are thinking of opening an authethic Chicago Style Pizza rest. and we are looking at different areas. Now, where are looking for a kind of central area where different ethnic groups and from different socio-economic backgrounds can go too,but that may be hard to find in the DFW area.

You can find it, but the rent may be a bit stiff. I'm talking uptown, Bishop Arts district in Oak Cliff, Plano. Another problem is that there are a gazzilion Pizza places in DFW. Not sure about Chicago style per se.
You might want to look further north. We live in Sherman, and the Sherman-Denison area has about 60K people. Few Italian restaurants and pizza is Mr Jims and Dominos for the most part. Just a thought.

Anthony Bourdain "No Reservations" - Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - YouTube
With great vegetarian ingredients - I'll be right there...How about Casa Linda area?
