My sister from out of state is throwing a bridal shower for me and I wanted to give her some ideas. I would love to have it at someone's home but right now that is not an option since my bridemaids live out of state or in small apartments.

I think my sister prefers a place where she can bring her own food and cake--she is a great cook but I can't seem to find any places like that. I'm also open to restaurants or other places where we use their food but only if its affordable.

Looking right in Dallas but willing to go a little north like Addison or Richardson. Any suggestions?

Some apartments have community rooms you can rent out cheaply...since your friends live in apart, ents maybe they have them at their complexes?

Also, if you have any friends that have a neighborhood clubhouse, you can have it there.

Dallas Parks &Recreation Dept. has small party rooms at various centers that rent out from about $25 per hour. Lots of the suburban P&R dept's do too. best rates are for meeting rooms at community ceneters where you are a resident, Check Coppell, Irving, Carrollton, etc.
