I watched the fireworks from the Continental bridge last night. They were spectacular. I was on the new bridge tonight and I think they actually outdid last night. There were fireworks that looked like smiley faces when they popped. How the hell does that work? I would post the video I took if I could but there'll probably be another one posted from the news.

If they put a lake under that bridge and develop the area around the bridge it would be a perfect spot for New years or 4th of july celebration.

Like the article says, they weren't letting people on the bridge when I got there, which was at about 20:30. I was pretty perturbed about that. This bridge is supposed to hold up cars but they can only let so many people on it? At least I was able to watch the fireworks from the foot of the bridge.

I thought that was an evacuation piece. Evacuating people is far different than vehicles traversing a bridge.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. There was a long line waiting to get in and they'd only let them in as people walked out. Only a few of them did get in before the event ended.
