We applied to Pre-K for Dealey this year, and have been put on the waiting list. Our little one got in the high 90s so I'm surprised it wasn't enough to make the cut.... From past experiences, has anyone been admitted who were on the waiting list?

There is a ton of competition for Dealey. Do you know how many applied this year? Chances are probably not good, sorry.

We don't know specifically the number that applied for this year -- but generally they say 250-300 kids apply for 30 pre-k spots, some of those going to siblings, which have first priority. Letters went out yesterday.

Mine is on the wait list too. How did you find out the score already? I was told they will tell you what number on the list you are...unless that changed this year.

We called on Friday, randomly, and were able to get the score. Apparently the waiting list number will be available by Wednesday.

My daughter scored a 91 and is #45 on the list. We are bummed, but proud of her for doing so well.

My son scored a 98/100 and is #2 on the waiting list. Keeping every body part crossed in hopes that he'll be in...

My son scored 96 and is #24 on the waiting list. I don't know what chance we have of getting in, but I'm remaining optimistic.
