I posted earlier about a job relocation in Plano (10th St/Jupiter Rd area) but figured I'd narrow my title down a bit. I'd imagine the closer to Dallas, the bigger the single scene? Yes? Looking for a < 20 min commute to the above address and even lesser commute to the single life. Would Richardson be a nice place to live for a single white 40 yr old male?

Thanx for your time.

A great single scene in North Dallas is around the Addison area. But even then anywhere north is just 20 minutes from the downtown area. DFW is so full of things to do, no matter where you are they is plenty.

I did check out Addison via Google maps and did notice a lot of restaurants. I'd probably have to hit a couple toll roads to get to work from there. How much do those run? Most of the tolls I hit where I live now are only .75 cents. I currently live about 25 minutes from the downtown Richmond scene which is still kind of far if you wanted to have a few drinks :-(
I'll be in Plano next week for a few days to check things out.

thanks again for responding.
