Hello all. We have been here about 3 months now. I see that University Park and the surrounding areas are most like home, but aren't interested in same areas. What I would like to know is what every one thinks of Flower Mound? What are great up and coming areas? Schools aren't important nor is commute. One works from home and just needs access to DFW. Would like a tad bit space and very safe to where if I leave a back patio door open at night, I won't be visited.

Live currently in Carrollton and do not like the area. Want to stay north.

Appreciate any ideas gang! Thank you.

I'd move to San Angelo TX if you want to leave your back door and garage door open.

No matter where you're at in North TX, I'd shut my back door. That's just common sense.

No kidding! There have been home invasions in some of the best parts of town. Never set yourself up to be a victim like that! "Trust in God, but lock your car."

FM would be fine.

I see nothing wrong with leaving the door open if you have a dog or two.

I like FM, just not during rush hour! Same goes for Lantana, Double Oak and Highland Village, have you checked out those areas, too?

Well I apologize, but didn't mean literally. I am an NRA member so we should be good. Just didn't want to be near bus stops! I will check on Prosper and Highland Village. Going out this morning with realtor so I hope to narrow it all down a bit. Love one in zip 75208! Gorgeous area!

Try Plano also, non rush hour is less than 40 minutes to airport from west Plano. Nice diverse area with good schools and a self contained community for a suburban fan like me. Not far from Carrollton which is a huge area. I am proposing west Plano too given your airport access need.
