My favorite Dallas reality TV show is "The First 48." There's nothing flattering about that.

As a Texas born liberal I'm trying to learn to fly over these kinds of posts.

Not surprising that they are doing RHO Dallas, BUT I thought they might pass because they (Bravo) tried Most Eligible Dallas, which appeared to be a test to see if they could pull of RHOD, and ME Dallas was a horrible failure.

You got that right! And now they've got "Shahs of Sunset" which should be re-titled "Most Eligible Tehrangeles" because it's the same show with Iranians in LA. That show is proof positive that Bravo is not out just to make Southerners look bad.

Having a show filmed in your town (good or bad) always brings money to a city, so I say, bring it on.

Today, Andy Cohen of Bravo said again that the show isn't happening.

However, Wikipedia says it is happening, so it has to be true. (Right? )

If it does happen (and I really hope it does), I'm going to have to get cable just to watch this show to support my soon-to-be new town.

I'm just saying that EVERYONE that I still keep in contact with on the Eastern Seaboard is liberal, and thinks I live in Hicksville and since I'm conservative means I have no brain. I in no way meant to insult the entire right or left coasts. BTW, I didn't invent the term "flyover country" so some of us have a bit of a chip on our shoulders from the elite media in the NE.

Ahaha, you, too?! Everyone I tell that I'm moving to TX thinks the same thing, and that I'm nuts. I'm constantly defending TX, then I ask, have you ever been there? Of course, more times than not, the answer is no.

No worries. An equal number of people had a negative opinion of CA before I moved there. And again, more times than not, they'd never been there.

Seems logical to me.
