The project was held up for a while because the city of Lewisville had to wait on the Kansas City Southern to engage on the project since the city will have to build a rail bridge. The initial response from KCS took a very long time but eventually came in the last couple of months. If you assume another 6 to 9 months to finalize the design and complete the legal work, you might expect construction to start in late winter or early spring 2013. It'll probably take a year to complete since the railroad has to be moved first, then the underpass on one side and bridge built, then the railroad moved back to the bridge, then the rest of the underpass built.
