DFW is so big, most areas will not be affected. Some people have lived here all there lives and never seen one. Some times a line of thunderstorms will come through and every once in a while a tornado will drop down. Today is a little different because they are going on for so long. It's been years since I've seen it like this.

The trailers shown flying [without a pilots license] were from the Flying J truckstop and a Schneider Depot off I20 [i do believe] in Southern Dallas county. Arlington has delcalred a state of disaster, Dallas County and city emegency Services checking for injured and anyone trapped [as there was a housing unit behing the truckstop.]

Unknown how much damage and or injuries there are elsewhere.

What an afternoon

Nasty stuff. I was watching Pete Delcas on Channel 8 and holy moly, there was an actual tornado on TV, in south Dallas.

Thanks Boom for showing the tornado map!

I hear what you are saying. I have family considering this area and it is worrying to see this happening there. Seems like whenever my cousin considers a place to move there is some disaster that happens in that area.

I guess (as far as I understand) this is a risk of Texas.
