My son is celebrating his birthday and curious on any recommendations to take the family out to eat - he's 17. There are 6 of us going. We're not looking for something super expensive but not looking for the cheapest also. I'm not looking to spend $250 on us all -

What's your favorite place to take your family out to eat?

Love and War Steak house- but for seven $250 might not be enough.
That's where all our B-Day dinners are at.

There are great restaurants all over DFW. No need to drive across town.
Honestly, for a 17 year old, I say Cheesecake Factory.

We live near Plano. Cheesecake Factory is on the list - though we've done that numerous times with all the kids but still a great place to eat!

I recommend Salt Grass Steak House or Fire Pies as fitting your price range limit and offering good food. Anamia's is good too for texmex or Blue Mesa for SW food. Hope you all have a great time

Wont help them tonight. I believe Ziziki's as well as your recommendation are over $10/person unless more than 1 of the OP's kids are under 15 when you add a drink (soda or tea)

The OP didn't specify an amount; only said that they didn't want to pay in the $40/person range.
