Has anyone else noticed this? I see lots of abandoned cars along I-30 (Tom landry hwy) just east of the 820 S. They all have those neon stickers that the police put on them (I'm guessing)

I'm really curious...I see probably 3-5 new cars per week...all different vehicles. Do people run out of gas or something?

Arlington has a free car program. When you leave one, you get one.

If you see a car parker on I-30, feel free to help yourself. Just be nice and leave it in Arlington with more gas in it then you use.

Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Higher the population, the higher the chances are that you will see a string of broke down cars along the hwy.

Probably the entity responsible for pulling cars into the pound on that stretch of freeway is run by different oversight agency--
AND there is room to leave them--
on Airport Frwy now with construction there is NO place to leave a car that is not running--
it would be towed ASAP

plus--lots of poorer people in Arlington area--lots of college kids--semester/year is ending--
maybe they would just walk away vs get it repaired...

Perhaps...but I never see any broken down cars along other stretches of highway that seem just as populated.

Maybe you are right. But the whole thing seems very suspicious
