Sorry, but this really begs the question, why didn't he renew it when it was time to, much less in all the time gone by in the past three years? And, what about driving, insurance, employment, etc., etc., etc., that one needs a valid DL for?

Friend needs to request a new certified copy of his birth certificate from the state vital statistics where he was born - these can be expedited in many cases.

Then he can either go apply for a new driver's license or get a Texas state issued photo I.D. card, the ID card being the quickest. He'd also need the birth certificate for a passport to travel out of the country.

He must have a photo ID to fly... does he have an employee ID with photo? That may suffice with the SS card, but I don't know for sure... you'll need to ask.

He really needs to get this done the right way as soon as possible and be diligent about keeping it renewed in the future.

Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear, but we're not on CD here to assist you or your friend in accomplishing anything illegal.

He can fly without a photo ID but he is going to get the full security search experience...

he doesn't get it renewed because he has traffic warrants. and i called the TSA Admin office at the airport and they said he could fly even if he didn't have ANY ID. It would just be a long pain. They have databases they can pull questions from to verify your id. They said to bring any other documents to help verify.

Not hear to help me accomplish anything illegal????? what the heck is that. some shot at me or him?

straight from TSA:

"Not having an ID, does not necessarily mean a passenger won’t be allowed to fly. If passengers are willing to provide additional information, we have other means of substantiating someone’s identity, like using publicly available databases."

Not a shot at all. It appears to me that you answered your own question.
