I am sure there a some happy customers with Ashley Furniture, but they are called the Walmart of furniture stores for a reason. Check out customer reviews on all the mentioned stores and you can decide from the reviews. A simple search will show all you need to know. Good luck.

There is a better way, go consigment stores. The offer higher qualify furniture at lower prices and many of them are lightly used and appear new. The only issue is finding exactly what you want, if you want a specific color or style, you cant order from a consignment stores and know its coming in for you. However I know two which have good inventories are display and have at least as much as they display in a warehouse and new stuff coming in daily. I am talking about very high end manufacturers if you want so it will last and the more classical styles stand the test of time too. One is on Beltline between Preston and the North Dallas Tollway in a shopping center with la madeleines on the end near beltline. The other is in Plano in a shopping center right off Preston and just south of Spring Creek.
