Looking for a place to party (plano/Garland/Richardson area) (renting, weddings)

Hello,
I am a Dj looking for a place to throw a party.
I have a club level sound system (over 10k watts of sound) and a light show and 4 to 5 djs who would spin that night as well.
Looking for a place not too far from 75 preferably near plano/garland/richardson

I have just been looking around and all the venues renting have been charging crazy prices (upwards of a thousand for one night) and i dont have that much cash to spend.


I usually play weddings and at bars, but now I am wanting to throw a party of my own and not even sure where to really begin.

any thoughts of places cheap? or if you have a place for yourself?

I own an events company and $1000 is going to get you no where. The only way I can see your concept working is if you charge a cover and use that money to pay for a venue. There's also a venue in downtown Plano (I forgot the name of it so google it) that may be able to work with you as they charge less $$ on nights that aren't booked if you book last minute.

i am thinking about charging a cover actually, i dont need something quite that huge, as this is a first run of an event we are trying to start
