Hello All, I just got a job offer in the Grand Prairie, Arlington, Tx area... the job is not offering a relocation package and that is fine bc I want to stay in the healthcare industry and this is a new position for me. I am needing some assistance in trying to find where I should stay at for apprx 3-4 months until I can fully relocate all of my things (due to a current lease) and want to be in this area. Could anyone tell me what are some names of extended stay hotels, corporate housing, etc that I can call to get rates? Or if anyone has any suggestions on temporary housing that will not break the bank?

Thanks in advance,

Tahja Blake

I went that route this summer, and all I can say is good luck. Grand Prairie was a dump, and I had the unfortunate experience of staying at an extended stay hotel in Arlington that was one of the worst experiences of my life.

The only "okay" extended stay hotel I found was the Super 8 Arlington East location.. a bit of a drive from Grand Prairie, but I did not have to see stabbings, men getting arrested, and tire slashings at this place like the others had.

The Budget Inn on Randol Mills at I-30 is extended Stay. There is another hotel next to Wendy's across the freeway that also does extended stay.
You can do a google search for these types of hotels. IMO, look for housing north of I-30.
