Our family is relocating to Dallas and we're looking for a Catholic school for our young children. We are going to be living in between two schools--Holy Trinity and Christ the King. We have only been to Dallas one time and know nothing about either school, except for what we've read online (always a BIT dangerous...though here I am on an internet forum asking for advice!)

I would love to hear educated opinions about either/both of these schools.

Feel free to private message me if you prefer.

Thanks for any guidance,
LC

I assume you will live in Preston Hollow or Highland Park/University Park maybe Uptown? I don't know anything about Holy Trinity except it's location and the fact that the old school campus is beautiful. Christ The King is academically speaking very strong.

If you are looking to enroll for next fall it's months past the application deadlines and almost certainly both schools are full. I'd call both - state your case and get on the waiting lists for both. Right before school starts a number of folks move or otherwise back out. That's a long way of saying that just because it's too late - it really may not be too late.

From a competitive game theory angle I'd apply to St. Monica and St. Rita as well and maybe to some other nearby catholic schools.

Best of luck and welcome to Dallas.
