Bush, Sr. has a home in Houston, near Woodlake @ I610. They attend church there.
Laura Bush is originally from Midland, Tx but attended SMU in Dallas, where the Bush library will be built. Yes, they are removing some old but not necessarily remarkable homes for the purpose.

Nobody is living in 'another state' (other than mind) for tax break purposes. Just as Senator Clinton is not living in Arkansas for political purposes.

Laura Bush is from Midland but she graduated from SMU. Her father was a homebuilder there, I believe. Hopefully, they'll stay down in Crawford and let us have some peace.

He lives in the Tanglewood neighborhood of Houston. I've seen it with my own eyes. He also has an apartment at his library in College Station. He can be seen in both areas quite often.

I think Dubya will choose the Park Cities or Preston Hollow. There are lots of rumors in the Park Cities about where he was looking. People said Euclid a while back. But that is probably only because that is where Cheney lived while he was CEO of Halliburton. By the way, it was a remarkably ugly house. It only had one window one could see from the street. Obviously really big security concerns there.

If I were him, I'd choose Preston Hollow. The lots are so much bigger there.

Alrighty then, my source was wrong. I did wonder how he could claim residence in Texas without actually having a residence here.

Yep I've seen his (GHW Bush) house in Houston too.. on a little cul-de-sac. Not really that remarkable. He formerly 'lived' in the Houstonian - so that's where people got the idea it was in name only.

He'll probably spend most of his time in Crawford anyway.. I would too if I was a former president. Stay out of the limelight and do the cool ex-presidential duties while living off the land in the middle of nowhere.
