Yes, I think she was from Mesquite.

Lane Garrison from Prison Break also went to Pearce along with the Simpson girls. Kin Shriner (many years on General Hospital) and his brother Wil (comedian/actor) graduated from Pearce too as did Julie Cypher, former spouse of Lou Diamond-Phillips and former partner of Melissa Etheridge. I was flipping through People Magazine 10-12 years ago when I saw a photo and caption of Julie (who graduated with me) with Melissa. Who knew? Chris Jacke, former Packers kicker and fantasy football player of mine due to school loyalty, graduated from Pearce as did Ray Childress, former Oilers player.

I focus on Pearce only because I went there. I think Jensen Ackles from Supernatural went to Berkner. There are some famous people from Richardson HS too but I can't think of who they are off the top of my head. Of course, Morgan Fairchild tops the Lake Highlands list or at least she started the LH star trend.

Default Lance Armstrong

Lance did indeed live in Plano. He actually went to Plano East, but he basically left school because they refused to pass him because he missed so many days of school.

My pre-calculus teacher was also Armstrong's teacher. She says he missed something like 80 days of school and complained constantly because he wanted special treatment. She always told us that he was a big douchebag and that she personally believed his "nice" Tour de France persona was an act.

Quid pro quo, Lance majorly disses Plano in his book, saying basically what everyone says about the Dallas area, which I find amusing because at the time he was in Plano, Plano was basically a big, giant farm.

And what is Morgan Fairchild's real name? Patsy McClenny. Greer Garson isn't from Dallas but she lived in the 3525 forever until her death. Don Henley lives in Bluffview. Dr. Phil McGraw lived in Las Colinas until he moved to Beverly Hills. His house in the gated Cottonwood Valley neighborhood was for-sale for a loooooong time after he relocated.

Steve Miller, (Fly Like An Eagle) was born in Wisconsin but moved to Dallas when he was seven. He went to the St. Mark's school of Texas where he formed his first band, the Marksmen. That's where he met bandmate Royce Scaggs later known as Boz Scaggs. Steve graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in the Lakeland area in 1961.

You may not know him too well, but actor Powers Boothe has Dallas ties. He attended SMU and, I believe, was part of their drama program at one time.

Dr. Phil's kids attended The Greenhill School when they lived here.

Prison Break has been filming in the West End the last few days. (I know they film all over, but we're sharing a parking lot every day which makes me famous.)

Office Space and Logan's Run were filmed here. In Logan's Run they used the Fort Worth Water Gardens.

Martina Navratilova lived on Spring Creek between Arapaho and Campbell for several years. (Highlands North subdivision)

A girl I went to HS with dated Lance Armstrong for well over a year, when they were at Texas. Methinks he's not such a nice guy. Not abusive or anything, just...not a great guy.
