Pls suggest preferable route for daily commute from Allen (Stacy and 121) to Irving (114 and Walnut Hill Ln). Thanks!

I would try 2 different routes and see how they go timewise. Take 121 to the north end of the airport where it merges into 114. Then southeast on 114 to Walnut Hill. Or take 121 to I-35, south on I-35 to George Bush.

Or Central Expressway (75) to George Bush. West on GBTR to Hwy 114.

Eventually you might take 75 to 635 and head west but 635 is going to be a mess for the next 3-5 years.

Google Maps might give you the shortest routes.

This one. All of the others have construction mess. You do realize this is not going to be a fun commute, right?

Yes, absolutely, hopefully it will only be 3 days a week with flex hours. Thanks for the suggestions, I will try them all.

I did this commute today using 121, 35 and 114 option. It took 45 mins in the am and 50 mins in pm. Tomorrow I will try 75 and GBTR route..

From Allen that should be about your average commute time. I-75 can be a little rough. Keep us posted.
