Car dealerships
Rather than shipping my car to TX, I'm thinking about purchasing a new/used vehicle. Are there any dealerships in the Frisco/Allen/McKinney/Plano area that I should stay away from?
I don't want to deal with pushy salespeople and crooks.
Thanks!

I bought my car at Huffines Hyundai in Plano...I got an online quote from them and drove a $22,000 car off the lot for $17,200.

I like Classic BMW. They don't bother you at all when your even just "kicking tires" and are GREAT to deal w/ as a female.

I worked for Huffines for almost two years. They sell Chevrolets, Hyundai and Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Ray Huffines is a Christian man who I think tries to run his business with Christian values. (not to say that every single person who works there would necessarily embody this but I would certainly recommend them as a dealership.) They also have a pre-owned dept. too.

We're talking about car dealers here, aren't we?
I got an excellent deal from an acquaintance who works at a dealership in Richardson. However, a certain Star Wars quote comes to mind as far as recommending him.
"I don't trust him either, but he is my friend." -- Han Solo

We dont want to transport out car to Dallas either when we make our move. Its not worth the cost. Has anyone had any experiences with buying used/certified cars from these online retailers? Or is it better to go into a private dealer?

Hey aef---
I am in Mckinney--we shopped all the car places on the 75 access roads. (I wanted to upgrade to a small SUV--how very Dallas of me.) We ended up at the Ford place--they were nice, not to pushy. The Nissan place was fine--a cutie pootie sales guy (really new to industry and young) not to pushy--but the manager there was something like out of a comedy. You should go just for entertainment! They had a GONG. I am not kidding--I could barely contain my laughter. Happy shopping! (we got the Edge--really comfy but I have to say the gas milege is to be desired -- only about 16.5 mpg)

David McDavid Honda was excellent. I also like Park Lexus in Plano.
