Help with housing choices in greater Dallas (Plano, Garland: school district, live in)

Hi -- moving from Chicago, will work in Plano off Legacy Dr
Parents and siblings live in Garland Texas right off of 30/635
Wife wants Frisco, but far (to me anyway) from Plano and certainly Garland
Also need decent traffic to airport

Any ideas other than Frisco that are nice, good schools, e.g. NE Plano?

Highlands Park? Plano itself, etc.

Why not northeast Garland in the Firewheel area? Right at 190 with easy access to the airport and everywhere else in the metroplex. We can get to the airport in morning rush hour in an hour or less door to door and that includes parking. Last Friday we had to be up in far north Plano off of DNT and Spring Creek Pkwy. We literally entered the entrance ramp of 190 at North Garland Ave at 5:00 straight up per the car clock. It was 5:12 when we got to the interchange of 190/DNT and by 5:20 we were getting off of DNT and this was going about 65 mph.

Plano and Frisco are both nice. You can also live in northwest Plano and be in the Frisco school district. Highland Park would be out of your way of both work and relatives. If you have that kind of cash money, however, you might look at West Plano which is also pricey.
