I live in Allen near Bethany and Angel, I'm not seeing many for sales around here. The houses that go on the market sell pretty quick, less than 30 days. I love it here, safe, quiet, near just about everything you need. You can jump on 75 and get to Dallas or 121 out to the airport in 30-40 minutes
Can't help you with the schools. Highly recommend this area.

Collincad.org is that a reply? Is this a state agency of some kind? An explanation with the reply would help.

Obviously it's a link. You can copy and paste into a blank (or other) browser to link to an official website of the Collin County Appraisal District, with contact info. They can answer more precisely any questions you might have regarding property tax rates.

The mission of the Collin Central Appraisal District is to appraise all property in the Collin County Appraisal District at market value equally and uniformly, and to communicate that value annually to each taxpayer and taxing jurisdiction.

If you have a property address you can look up the current assessed valuation.
