I read on this board not long ago, but cannot find the quote, that homes that have been built or are being built east of Dallas are small but have tons of amenities. Can someone please tell me what cities these houses are in? Or pinpoint the zip code or area, so I can check it out? Where is momof2dfw when I need her?

The best investment East of Dallas would have to be Forney. The city has exploded in the past 2 years and the city planners are doing a great job modeling the city after Frisco. The Villages of Fox Hollow is a really nice community built in the new hub of Forney with hike and bike trails, an amenities center with pool and playgrounds and it will also have its own Elementary School. Rockwall is also a beautiful city built around the lake. Both of these cities are around 15-20 minutes away from Dallas.
