Add the Arboretum in Dallas. I also see photo shoots happening on parts of Turtle Creek.

I recently shot a couple of pictures of one my toys at the Cottonwood Marina in Little Elm. They have a parking lot over looking the Marina and water plus a couple of other little parking lots. In addition, back about a mile from there is a parking area on the grass and/or dirt over looking the water.

Here is a couple of pictures that I took at the Marina.... obviously, somebody that knows what they are doing could have done a much better job, but having the Marina behind you like that was pretty neat I thought.

I would love to see others pictures at various locations. I love photography, albeit, I know nothing about it.

The canals in Las Colinas are very popular (look up The Cellar and go down to the canals). There are many ponds with fountains in this area... all along Las Colinas Blvd and Rochelle south of 114 come to mind.

Cedar Hill State Park is also good and Addison Circle can be nice.
