Thank God! Someone is finally making a map of the neighborhoods in Dallas. It really gets on my nerves when the news calls everything South of I-30 South Dallas, when actually they are in Oak Cliff. When they are in South Dallas they call it Southeast Dallas.

Heh, and a few years ago they called almost everything south of I-30 Oak Cliff.

I know the map people are screwy, dont they know Oklahoma is north of 635? Duhh

Looks like they aren't going with our historic neighborhood name, don't think I like that. We have a pushy voluntary home owners association, they are using that name instead. Guess I'll try and shoot the mapmaker an email.

Very cool map, but it would be a lot cooler if they'd make the streets a bit easier to see. White on light gray should never be used. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out where I am on the map.

That's only because it's chopped. When you click the link for the third map, it also has that map that covers all of the city of Dallas.
