With Thanksgiving Day only a week away, thought I'd post a few options for this year if you're planning to eat out and/or where you can pick up your dinner to eat in.
......................................
Here are the listed suggestions from dmagazine's sidedish that has options for both and from opentable for those restaurants that will be open Thanksgiving Day:

- Thanksgiving Day Dining-In & Dining Out - Nov22 - sidedish.dmagazine.com
- Thanksgiving Day Dining Out - Nov22 - opentable.com

Also, here are our previous years' Thanksgiving threads that may give you some ideas as well:

2011 -
http://www.city-data.com/forum/dalla...where-eat.html
2011 - Ready-to-Eat Turkey
2008/09/10 - Thanksgiving restaurants
2010 - Reasonably Priced Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving?
2010 - Ordering thanksgiving dinner
2009 - Best place to get premade Thanksgiving Dinner?
2008 - Thanksgiving Dinner?

Please do include your ideas/plans as well!

..................................

Thanks, and here's wishing all of you a gobbledy-great day!

..........................................

Also, please see the DFW 2012 Christmas/Holiday Event post for all of this year's holiday celebrations by city I've put together for you - some that have already started and many that go through January 6th! I do apologize beforehand if I've missed your community and/or one or more of your community events, so please post those as well in the Event thread!

Do take time out to just enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

Great lists!!

One more to add: Dallas City Lights 2012
We went a couple of years ago and there were a ton of people downtown. But fyi, the restaurants in the area get super crowded.

Heading to the NM mountains for Thanksgiving. Dinner out at the historic St James hotel in Cimarron NM. In the bar, there are 20something bullet holes in the ceiling from the good ole days and gun fights. Great food and atmosphere...cant wait
