Can anyone shed some light as to what their vehicle registration and/or renewal costs?
Thanks!

It is less than NV for sure. The only problem is, you have to go to 2 different places, the DMV to get your DL and to the county clerk to get your vehicle registered.

TX75007. You are correct. The point I was trying to make, you have to go to 2 different places instead of just 1 (DMV) where I come from.

There is no "DMV" in Texas. The DPS issues drivers licenses. The county tax assessor/collector issues vehicle registrations.

Many thanks! I appreciate the info! Can anyone tell me if the drivers licenses are handed to you (while at their offices) or mailed to your home?

You get a paper copy then with the real one mailed to you. Maybe 10 days? Don't remember. Stupid as other states have the equipment to make it on the spot and give it to you.
