peace, quiet, some land for a garden country feel. I am tired of the city too much congestion.

You are also very near Ray Roberts Lake State Park I go camping and horseback riding up there. It is definitely horse country . My husband and I have been mulling over the idea of moving out of Frisco. We are looking for some land to build our own home. We have driven pretty much all over creation up there through Grayson County and even parts of southeastern edge of Cooke County.
Land out that way is not inexpensive. There are some opporunities that pop up where you can buy property abuting Army Core property (Lake Ray Roberts).
If you take FM 922 west of Tioga across the Lake there are lots of smaller county roads. We have explored a lot through that area and it was very pretty. Lots of trees and a little more hills etc..
I know it is further to the north but if you have time to take a Sunday drive check it out.
