Trinity River Tollway.
I heard that a YES vote kills the Tollway, but a NO vote keeps it alive.
Shouldn't it be, NO kills the T-WAY.....YES keeps it?

I think someone did that on purpose -- think of it as, "YES we want a park, not a tollway".

That's an excellent point, as far as I'm concerned and being new here. That's what I'm hearing. Someone should spin it the other direction.

Since I only recently returned to Dallas I don't know a thing about this issue; can someone maybe clue me in?

The Tollway was always the object. The parks were the farce to get the working chumps to buy (and pay) for it. Even the (sewage) lakes where purposed to be dug to provide the build-up (cut and fill) for the toll roads.
The new vote should not be about Kill the Tollway -- but rather to kill the scum behind the Tollway. They are the liars who cooked the mess up to start with. But lie, cheat and steal is the Dallas way.

its kind of a long story....but like back in 98 we voted to revitalize (like it was ever vital to begin with) the Trinity River Corridor, with parks , lakes and stuff like that.
Then the city wanted to build a highway with it to relieve traffic in and around the mixmaster.
In a nut shell this proposition is to either add the tollway to the corridor plan or kill it.

Hmm...I have no opinion on that. I can't imagine people wanting to go anywhere near the Trinity, though; it stinks to high heaven.

And it would stink even more if they build a road through it.
