It's so nice to see my city has gay pride! Thank you!
Dallas' Davis Building to be rainbow-lit for oral arguments in marriage cases
PHOTO: Davis Building goes gay
Quote:
Dallas, Texas, March 25, 2013 – The Davis Building, deemed a historic landmark in the heart of Downtown Dallas, will be launching Phase II of its revitalized elaborate lighting design on March 25, 2013. Phase I of the revitalization was launched in November 2012 on the eve of Dallas City Lights, an annual festive gala that brings locals and visitors together in jovial merriment. The Davis Building is proud to launch Phase II on the eve of the US Supreme Court hearing two landmark cases, Prop 8 and Defense of Marriage Act. The building will be illuminated through Saturday night in support of the LGBT movement and in support of marriage equality.

LOL. When it comes to bidness we're conservative, but our lighting is always quite flamboyant, eh? I love the lighting in the pic above, very cool!

Dallas has a big gay community, and liberals, and conservatives, and Blacks, and Hispanics, and even some of those pesky whites. With, what is it, 7 million residents in DFW we have everyone here.

Now we ain't Austin. But pretty diverse.

I want to point out that not one poster said anything negative that had to be deleted! That alone says something about tolerance.
