What's yours?

Mine:

The tangled spaghetti mess of lane markers on 635 West. It's ridiculous. In the evening during rush hour, the glare makes it so you cannot tell where your lane is no matter how hard you try. I get that it is a construction zone, but the lane remarking they did was shoddy and very dangerous given how heavily traveled that road is.

The exit onto the George Bush Tollway from 75 South. It's not even a real interchange. Again, so dangerous and constantly backed up. What baffles me is that interchange is relatively new--how on earth did that mess get past the planning stages?

Tollway and 635. Even worse now that there is construction.

The interchange between 190 EB and 75 SB. What idiot designed that one?

The interchange between 75 SB and 635 WB. It has been a bottleneck since way before that construction project started.

The mixmaster heading south on I35E. What brilliant engineer thought it would be great to have all these highways converge at one point - and to add insult to injury - put the exit to I30 on the left?

Honorable mention - DNT southbound to George Bush. It's absolutely amazing that there is only one lane for this interchange...it's a mess during rush hour in the afternoon.

I normally don't care too much about backed up traffic, but PGB to 75S is killing me lately. I have to exit at Campbell, which people brake to 30 mph on the freeway for even though the straight ramp exits to an access road as large as the freeway, and there is the cross-over from the Renner Road on-ramp which exits right into campbell as well, meaning something like 3 entry/exits all in the same place.

To add insult to injury, they have been building a bridge for the past 6-9 months for the Galatyn exit, and have a reduced down a lane on the access road. And they had to put this ridiculous 'truck height check' bar on the access road becaus the bridge is low. Extremely slow to build and dumb design at the same time. And once you cross the Galatyn bridge to the east, you hit a 4-way stop sign, which equals "traffic engineer had a hangover, and didn't want to do any design work on that intersection".

Commuting is horrible.

The High 5 scares me to death! Just the height of it. I got on it once by accident and was so nervous on the top part, I almost had an accident from shaking. But that's just me and my fear of heights. I can drive the lower parts with no problem.

75s/190 & 75s/635 are the worst ones.

Can't stand the Walnut Hill entrance onto the northbound Central. Too short a merge lane always backs up Central. I finally learned to exit southbound Central at Caruth Haven and take the frontage road to Lovers Lane when I'm going to the north side of the SMU campus, because getting off Central into the right hand turn lane at the Lovers exit is nutz. I don't have occasion to drive there very often, by southbound 35E through Denton? Good lord.

I take that entrance onto northbound 75 every afternoon, no problems whatsoever.
