Henderson Ave is good. Victor Tango, Tei Tei, The Porch for a meal. The Dram for nightlife.

Chicken Scratch and Foundry Bar if the weather is nice. Sorta in North Oak Cliff.

Nightclubs - Plush, Mantus, LEVU.

Brunch - Smoke at Belmont, Cane Rosso or All Good in Deep Ellum.

Low key bars - Doublewide, Lee Harvey's, Stangeways, Windmill.

And when all else fails...Rattlesnake Bar at Ritz Carlton. Usually something "fun" to watch happening there.

You're in the wrong city. Try Fort Worth.

Not necessarily true. There are some country places in Dallas, Cowboys Red River is the prime one.

Cowboys Red River - Dallas, TX

Cowboys Dancehall - Dallas

And right near Red River is Toby Keith's place: http://countrybartx.com/

Between the two, you can make an evening out of it
