Last weekend -

5 year old and 2 year old.

Mowed year and edged with kids running around and picking up stuff, pulling weeds.
Walked to park and back along greenbelt.
Looked at model homes.
Went shopping for groceries.
Read for an hour with them.

Church early service.
Kids watched a movie then played in back yard.
Folded clothes and made beds and cleaned up

During the week, my wife takes them to sports classes (gymnastics/soccer) and other things.
My son is reading fluently and reads for an hour or more a day, Right now he is into wimpy kids series and volcanoes.
He is also independent on the computer since age 2 and surfs a lot - and he has a lot of movies and other CDs.
Daughter is another story. Likes legos and dolls and her leappad.
