Best exotic/unique ethnic restaurants?

Such as Ethiopian, Moroccan, Eastern European, South American, etc.

Or maybe a restaurant that has unusual foods/dishes like frog legs, jellyfish, etc

Prefer North Dallas/Plano areas.

I know that theres a Great Ethiopian restuarant.....QUEEN OF SHEBA.......14875 Inwood Rd.
Theres one thing you will find in Dallas is a multitude of restaurants. Whatever you want its probably here.
As far as the other three....cant help you there.

But I do HIGHLY recommend QOS.

Kasra Persian Cuisine Restaurant
Kasra, a Persian restaurant in Richardson (525 West Arapaho), has a pleasantly exotic ambiance. I haven't tried any of the meat dishes there, but I've liked what I have tried and have enjoyed people-watching there.


There are also many Arab cuisine restaurants around. So many that I haven't even tried them all yet. My favorite so far, for food + ambiance, is Afrah ( review at Guidelive.com ). I've heard that Jasmine Cafe has great falafel and a good atmosphere. Habibi cafe has Egyptian-style food and a late night club atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of the food.

According to the DMN Eats Blog, there is an unnamed Sudanese restaurant at the corner of Kingsley and Audelia - that's pretty exotic

There are tons of places all around Dallas, not just north or down town. One of the things I treasure about living here in the DFW area is the fact that it is so ethnically diverse throughout the entirety of the concrete jungle.
