I'm surprised this hasn't made it to the boards yet. Any thoughts?

It looked staged to me, how convenient is it that someone was taping it right at the moment when he began his rant?

I say our kids should have the right to speak up about their education.

Maybe. But it seemed to me a back-and-forth had already been going on for a few minutes, and now the kid was being asked to leave by the teacher...and so he was making his final remarks as he was getting up from his desk and exiting the room. With how many people (and teenagers in particular) post practically every second of their day on Facebook, I am surprised more kids didn't record it.

The local radio station this morning reported that this kid was a 18 year old who had dropped out of high school only to return 2 years later. Seems to me the messenger is a bit flawed himself.

He said that in the interview himself last night and said that after he dropped out, he realized the importance of education.

This kid tells his teacher what he really thinks of her teaching

It is on the "Education" forum of the board.
