I just got back from the home tour. Was very interesting. That house on the picture still needs a LOT of work inside! Kudos to the person restoring it.

I was actually wondering if I met you!? Were you actively involved, giving tours / introducing homes? After the tour, we had late lunch at the Garden Cafe, next to the bazaar. That is a very neat place where you can actually sit in the veggie garden, enjoying your food!

Lots of amazing homes. Some with an enormous amount of work to be done, like the church! What a residence that will be!!

I was a sponsor - I didn't volunteer at any homes, but I was hanging out on some of the porches BS-ing.

Yes, the people who bought the church apparently have some deep pockets and one of their mothers is a stained glass expert...plus they are a really cool couple. They moved here from Newport Beach.

Yeah I may be a bit biased but I think Junius Heights has great upside potential financially. It's the last place in 75214 you could possible get anything for less than $200-$250K. Plus Lipscomb Elementary is exemplary for the third year now..
