Will the commercial areas of Craig Ranch in McKinney ever come?

The Craig Ranch office explained to us the developer of a large high rise pulled out.

On NPR today it was reported that DFW area will experience 50% growth in population in the next decade. And the roadways are not adequate to handle the population growth (only a fifth). Gridlock will only get worse.

What is the status of Businesses coming to the McKinney, Northern 75 areas?

I hope it comes soon.

A lot of people could use a whole lot more jobs North of 121 along 75.

Did you hear what NPR had to say about Dallas population growth today?

Jobs up North needed and/or mass transit.

Don't think of McKinney, but Plano. Plano has development built up on all four of its corners and has the potential for further development along its sides. Meditate on these four corridors surrounding Plano:

1) Bush Turnpike as its southern border where there is the locations of the University of Texas at Dallas and the crossing of the golden retail corridor of Preston Road.
2) The Dallas Parkway as the western border best known for being the platinum office corridor.
3) Central Expressway as the eastern border having a Dart light rail line.
4) 121 and, once again, the crossing of the golden retail corridor of Preston road, and its convenience to both DFW airport and to an airport in McKinney that caters to corporate jets.

As Plano further develops, that should attract more business to McKinney. So, don't think of the business relocating to McKinney. It's more like it will be relocating to Plano / McKinney.

This is because Plano is settling in as the principle city of North Dallas.
