I go to the farmers market every now and then for lunch. I normally go to the Chicago sausage deli place. They have some decent food. I never went to pecan lodge because no BBQ is worth standing in line for 30 minutes.

I think good BBQ is about the ONLY food worth standing in line for 30 minutes.

Takes me five minutes to drive there (I never have trouble parking, I know where all the spaces are) and two hours for the BBQ (on weekends). Last time I was the last in line to get brisket before they ran out - I'm sure everyone hated me! However, Justin does come out and warn the line an hour or so prior - he tries to pick a cut-off point and he was fairly accurate, saying about three people in front of me - so a bit conservative!

I love BBQ but we have so many great options in DFW where you dont have to wait in a long line.

If their brisket was kosher I might queue for a taste. But it's not. I don't eat non-kosher meat, which in DFW basically makes me a vegetarian by default if I'm eating out.
