I would like to document the reestablishment of upscale shopping in the city core of Dallas as the region recovers further from the great recession. This area would include Lemmon Avenue, most specifically the one mile of luxery car dealershipe located directly out front and to the side of the entrance of Love Field. This area would also include, going around the dial clockwise, Highland Park Village, Inwood Village, the Plaza at Preston Center, Northpark Center, and Lakewood.
It would also include an area of Uptown that is now forming stretching from Knox Park, often called Knox Henderson, all the way through the CityPlace / West Village development, to the area where the three upscale hotels are located, namely the mansion of Turtle Creek, the Dallas Ritz, and the Rosewood Court Hotel.

Here is an example of a new upscale store in the area of Uptown Dallas:

Most people remain unimpressed with the area I speak of because it isn't a shopping center like Highland Park Village having no set boundaries. And people still have a difficult time thinking about retail reestablishing itself any other place other than downtown Dallas.

But the area I mention in Uptown is quickly reforming as a genuine commercial shopping district within the central core of Dallas.
