Between 75% and 90% of new Audis are leased. It's a possiblity that a $30k millionaire could afford that one, assuming the stereotype is true and he is piled into an apartment with 5 friends. Either way, I like the joke.

A real 30K Millionaire would put just IMRICH on their plate, they can't make fun of themselves.

True That! I've known some of these $30K millionaires. They own nothing except maybe their clothes & the Rolex Submariner watch (which is usually a knock-off). They try to find the cheapest car lease they can and when it comes to paying their CC bills, they play a game of 5-card-screwed, paying the lowest monthly payment, doing a zero-percent balance transfer from one CC to another and repeating the process. I did some financial crisis counseling for a couple of these types and they did a Ponzi scheme on themselves with their credit. Unbelieveable!

The only thing they could do is file personal bankruptcy and while a solution, the new rules still make it a lousy choice than it was before a few years ago.

They never said anything was wrong with leasing. They were making the point that leasing is the cheapest way to posses an expensive car and it may be doable if your other bills are nominal even on a low income.

You can't lease a 90k car while making 30k.
