Hi all --

wondering if anyone could recommend a source for meditation classes, preferably in the northern DFW / Collin County area.

I've tried a few yoga studios, but it wasn't exaclty what I was looking for.

Thanks in advance!

You'll thank me later.

1. Anytime after dark or before sunrise. Shut the door- preferably to a tiny room, fire up a good stereo and grab the remote.

2. Strip to your level of comfort

3. Shut off the light

4. Lay down on the floor on carpet or one of those exercise mats

5. Fire up The Eagles' "Hotel California" or Davis' "Kind of Blue" or your favorite Beethoven Mass etc.

6. Do your "Constructive Mansion" mind play or my favorite is to imagine a little crane removing everything piece by piece from my mind. After ten minutes my mind is a blank amorphous cloud. In an hour it's getting weird - "Altered States" weird, I do an hour once or twice per month, five or ten minutes nearly everyday.

After that I am "ON" for the rest of the day.

Try it.

I've heard good things about the Meditation Class at Diggin' It in downtown Mckinney.
