My husband, my best friend, and I will be moving to Dallas the beginning of the year and we are looking for a pet friendly apartment for a max of $1100/mo.for a 2bd/2ba. I've tried to do my own research before bugging you folks however none of us have ever been to Dallas and have no clue where anything is. Main concern is safety. Safety is #1. We prefer a high rise but I can't find any within our budget. I will be working on spring valley road and would like to be close-ish but if we have to be further away then I can deal. The apartments that we liked but I was concerned about the area were:
La Costa
Camden Gardens
The Courts at Preston Oaks
Arbor Springs

Any comments on these? If these are bad apartments or bad areas, would you mind suggesting another complex to look at? Are there any high rise apartments in our range or townhomes? We aren't going to be able to go physically search around Dallas ourselves so I am having to just depend on on others suggestions :\

Thank you so much for the help!!!

I also thought I should mention, we are not social people and the 3 of us really just keep to ourselves so we aren't looking for any kind of social scene. Heck, we would rather live in the senior community where it's quite! We are odd for 20-somethings but enjoy peace.

Thanks again

I do not know any of these apartment complexes at all but would recommend Addison or sections of far north Dallas in the area of the Dallas Toll Road for safe communities within an easy commute of Spring Valley. Popular with 20 somethings, plenty to do but ok to be quiet and to yourself as well.
